Hello Tuesday

So it is Tuesday, 3:00pm, and I am ready for bed....is that a problem? Perhaps. Two things caused this problem.......staying up way too late last night, and helping in my daughters class today. Now this is something that "all the moms do", and I find myself feeling guilty about not doing enough. I often wonder if the teachers talk amoungst themselves about these slacker parents that have volunteered only twice (this is me...although I did go on a field trip and that should really be extra credit as far as volunteering goes). But what I realized today when I was watching my little girl in her element at school is that someday she won't want me around. But for now she introduces me to the class like she is so proud....proud that I am her mommy. It really was the closest I will ever be to celebrity. I think I will remember this day, and how special it made my daughter feel to have me there, and try to make it a bit more regular.

But for now I am in desperate need of a nap. zzzzzzzzzzz

Beanie Baby

Nothing cuter than a nakey baby!

Firehouse

A new firehouse opened up literally 2 blocks away and they had a bbq, inviting all the neighbors. The girls loved meeting the firefighters and touring the firehouse. Victoria even made them a picture which they hung up in the firehouse (she was thrilled, of course). Julianna was feeling a bit under the weather that day, but managed to pose for mommy anyways.

This day made me realize yet again, what a cute community we live in up here in the "Meadows."

Baby Legs

I don't think that I have ever seen anything cuter than these Baby Legs. I would have one of every style if I could afford it. Say goodbye to those "pain in the diaper" tights.

Freckles

I just had to take this one of her freckles, since I adore them.

I like this one, even without the makeup!

February 25th, 2008

So I have decided to get on this blogging train.......woooo woooo. We will see if I can stick to it, sometimes I can hardly remember to put my deodorant on. Not to mention I am not sure if I really have anything that interesting to say. I digress.......life is good, the weekend was fabulous (even with the rain), and the girls are great. We went to Victoria's school "Carnivale" on Friday and it was frickin adorable. They had food, live music, games, but mostly she enjoyed showing us her school and her friends. Another point for that school in my book, Reidy Creek Elementary rocks! Matthew and I did find it bizzare that we were parents of a school-aged child, where oh where has the time gone? Anyways, both girls came home with face paintings and treasured crafts, they had a blast.

Maybe I will treat this more as a diary.....to get my thoughts out. See ya tomorrow then.
Also, this picture of Emma is just cute...eh?
